EDI Training 17.11.21
Our second EDI session is planned for Wednesday 17th November from 3-4pm. This session is for all staff and will focus around a key report from the Runnymede Trust on Race & Racism in English Secondary Schools.
The training will run as a small group reading session with one lead facilitator.
The facilitator will pause and collect 5 key observations/takeaways as each section is read.
Following the session all staff will be expected to complete a g/form outlining recommendations based on your observations and select a book you would like us to purchase or you to read as part of your own commitment to self-education and racial fluency.
I am looking for more volunteers to facilitate a small group session so please let me know if you are interested.

Please be aware that the following year 9 students will be taking part in a survey evaluating the use of Chromebooks for Ms McGuinness. These surveys will take place 15 minutes before the end of the day every day from the 15th November till the 19th November.

Upcoming Food and Nutrition Taster sessions
Please note the upcoming Food and Nutrition taster sessions which will take place next week. These will take place for classes who missed out of Food and Nutrition lessons due to the pandemic.
