Dear Colleagues,

The hot weather has arrived and to ensure the air handling performs to its best at keeping the building comfortable, windows and external doors must be closed.

This is so the supply of cool fresh air from the air handling system can reduce the internal temperature keeping it lower than the temperature outside.  It may seem counter intuitive but if windows and external doors are left open it lets in the hot air,  the internal temperature will remain high and the air handling, although robust, will fail to cool the building at all.

Another tip is to keep the blinds closed as these are solar rated which should also help to reduce the temperature.

Thank you
